Cafe Manager

We’re currently recruiting for a Cafe Manager. You will be the front of house supervising the catering facilities at the Centre whilst working with the Centre Manager to implement new ideas, opportunities, dishes & promotions within the center to internal and external clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Ensuring that the team prepares and provides an efficient service throughout the day

• To be responsible for managing payments via the till and ensuring accurate payment is received

• Responsible for preparing both cold and hot food for our Coffee Corner

• To plan and cost food specials to ensure minimum wastage and maximise food and beverage GP

• Responsible for placing all orders and maintaining stock control

• To be fully conversant with the Food Safety Manual aHid Standards & to ensure all administration & data are recorded

• Ensure COSHH and H&S procedures are being followed correctly

• Operate within the guidelines set in the company handbook

• Maintain excellent working relationships with all Business Centre clients & personnel

• Support other Business Centres as and when required

As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Understanding of health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.

• Knowledgeable in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste.

• Proven experience in supervising staff to ensure excellent performance and customer service.

• Knowledge in updating the menus based on trends and customer preferences.

• Experience in using POS systems for transactions

• Able to demonstrate their initiative and be self motivated, conscientious, organised and efficient
