Weston Homes wins Best Medium Housebuilder at 2022 WhatHouse? Awards

Weston Homes has reaffirmed their position as one of the UK’s leading developers by winning the Gold award for ‘Best Medium Housebuilder’ at the annual WhatHouse Awards? 2022.  The prestigious ceremony is the country’s largest event that celebrates the very best of the new homes industry.

The awards ceremony was held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House hotel in London and was hosted by former Leader of the Conservative Party William Hague and England Rugby World Cup winner and broadcaster Maggie Alphonsi. The ‘Best Medium Housebuilder’ award drew a record number of entries this year and Weston Homes emerged victorious for the “sheer scale of their ambition, the quality of their execution and any number of initiatives to applaud” according to the judges. “At one end of the scale you have the extraordinary creation of their Modern Methods of Construction subsidiary, British Offsite; at the other, a marketing initiative with a branded retro Airstream coffee and ice cream trailer at development launches and staff functions, not to mention the launch of their own lifestyle magazine, The Weston.”

The judges also noted Weston Homes’ overarching sustainability agenda with their fabric-first policy and most of Weston Homes apartment buildings constructed using the British Offsite UNI panel system.
