Weston Homes, the leading London and Home Counties house builder, has opened a new corporate office suite in Marylebone’s Portman Square in order to capitalise on the West End’s global clientele and strong local property and investment communities.
Located in British Land’s landmark glass and steel building at 10 Portman Square, the new ground floor corporate suite has a multi-functional role. It will be used to showcase the company and its projects to a range of audiences including investors, agents, bankers, landowners, joint venture partners, premium-clients and multiple purchasers.
The suite has the benefit of its own private street entrance and guests can also enter via the building’s main stunning double height entrance foyer with concierge. Inside the suite, the main space is Weston Homes branded with bespoke dark Oak joinery and a central display area showcasing scale models of the company’s various projects. The scale models will be mounted on luxurious Fior Du Bosco marble stands complete with Ipad information panels.
To one side of the model-area is a lounge seating area with sofas, side and coffee tables around a bespoke fireplace and wall mounted 84” cinema-style touch screen. Here visitors will be able to relax, view corporate videos or interfacing presentations of individual new developments. One wall forms a bespoke library/wine display case.
Double doors lead into a large conference/dining space, with a large sculptural central table fitted with power/data stations, able to accommodate 12-14 people. This conference/meeting room is equipped with a 48” plasma screen for media, presentations and video conferencing. There is also a “back of house” facility which includes a private sales/staff office, fully fitted kitchen and extensive storage space.
Stansted based Weston Homes is one of a number of leading house builders to establish special corporate suites in London’s West End. St George has a suite on Berkeley Square whilst Galliard Homes has a suite on Wigmore Street.
Bob Weston, Chairman of Weston Homes comments: “Due to the scale of their operations and size of staff, many major house builders, including ourselves, have their head office located outside of Central London. However many of our investment, land and other commercial meetings and deals are made with firms and people who are West End based or visit the locality frequently. This is why we felt that a multi-functional corporate suite in the heart of the West End would be useful for engaging with our target audiences and giving us a strong brand presence in the heart of London’s property and investment communities.”
The new corporate suite will be formally unveiled at a special launch party on 24th June 2015, held in the gardens of Portman Square. Weston Homes will use the launch to showcase the firm’s current and pipeline projects which include the regeneration of the former Telegraph Works site in Greenwich.
During the Victoria and Edwardian eras, the Telegraph Works produced undersea cables which enabled Queen Victoria and US President James Buchanan and later Winston Churchill and President Roosevelt to communicate. The 1.2 acre industrial site is being transformed by Weston Homes and joint venture partner Cathedral Group into a new £120 million residential address providing 272 homes including apartments and houses set in landscaped grounds. Other projects to be showcased in the suite will the company’s major projects in Stratford and Cambridge.
Established in 1987 Weston Homes currently has a £116+ million turnover and circa 735 sales completions per annum. The company undertakes new build, conversion and mixed-use projects on brownfield-land sites in inner London and the Home Counties. The product price range of £130,000 up to £3+ million reflects Weston Homes ability to deliver the complete spectrum of new homes ranging from starter and family homes up to luxury executive houses and trophy properties such as penthouses and bespoke residences.
