Weston Homes Plc has specified RAK Ceramics for its new development at Preston Hall, near Aylesford in Kent. The new, luxurious homes are located within a former Grade II listed historic mansion, with origins dating back to 1102 and occupying over 53,000 square feet.
Beige and grey-toned porcelain finishes, from RAK’s best-selling Lounge Collection, were chosen for all bathrooms and en-suites. The installation follows earlier RAK specifications at Weston Homes’ Silverbrook, Markyate; Willows Grove, Napsbury; and Park View, Hornchurch developments.
The meticulous Preston Hall restoration will include 36 one-to-four bedroom homes, set within 2.5 acres of landscaped gardens and accessed via a dramatic great hall. Period details used alongside cutting edge materials result in new homes that combine history with modern living facilities.
Throughout the spacious, stone-paneled bathrooms, RAK’s two-toned Lounge surfaces provide a sleek and elegant finish – on floors, walls and countertops. The tiles also provide a host of practical benefits, including resistance to water, stains, abrasion and impact, as well as easy care.
The first phase release at Preston Hall consists of 16 residences, including four premier collection apartments, with occupations anticipated from Summer 2015.
