Fortis Apartments to Welcome First Residents

Five months ago Weston Homes launched an impressive selection of high-specification apartments at Fortis in the West Drayton Garden Village. In this short time, already 55 of the 88 apartments released have been reserved with many buyers having moved into their homes already.

The residents will join a growing community at Fortis, which already has a number of occupied houses on-site owing to the success of the first phase. As the scheme matures and the landscaped gardens are established, Fortis promises to provide a safe and welcoming environment to call home. Construction is on schedule and buyers will be pleased to know that the level of quality offered by Weston Homes is second to none.

Bob Weston, Chairman and Founder of Weston Homes, comments: “We are so pleased to have new residents call Fortis home. The scheme, as part of the Drayton Garden Village, is not only great value for money, well-connected to transport links and of excellent quality, it also shares the history and legacy associated with the former RAF site at West Drayton. West Drayton has been dramatically transformed from a derelict brownfield site into an entirely new and revitalised community on the fringes of London.”

When all phases are complete, Drayton Garden Village will comprise 773 homes, an 80 bed care home, play area, office space, gym facilities and a shopping parade. Fortis provides several opportunities for homeownership in the Village including a handful of spacious townhouses and the remaining one and two bedroom apartments with prices from £192,995. The properties offer a great first step onto the property ladder and Weston Homes is offering the new low-deposit Government Help to Buy scheme that allows buyers to secure a home with just a 5% deposit.

Fortis is in close proximity to junction 15 of the M25 and the M4 junction 4a and just five miles from Heathrow Airport. West Drayton Rail Station is only a short walk away from Fortis with direct services to London Paddington in 23 minutes, London Marylebone in 47 minutes and London Kings Cross in 55 minutes, enabling easy access to central London. Residents will also benefit from the new Crossrail scheme, which will provide a quick and direct commute to central London, the Square Mile and Docklands upon completion in 2017.
