Weston Homes grand reveal at Silverhind

Weston Homes is celebrated the unveiling of the Silverhind façade with a champagne reception and the opening of several, two and three bedroom view apartments on the 9th and 10th of March 2013. Demonstrating the quality of build at the Chigwell development, the new view apartments are expected to drive foot traffic to the already popular development on the fringes of London.

Built on the site of the former Bald Hind pub on Hainault road, scaffolding will be removed this week to reveal the long-awaited modern design of Silverhind by Russ Drage architects. The building, which features exposed brick and granite green panels, will once again act as a significant local landmark, just as its predecessor had done previously. The building ranges from two to four storeys in height and comprises 14 two and three bedroom apartments, 30 minutes from London and close to the beautiful Essex countryside.

Apartments on offer have been designed and built to a very high specification with en-suites to master bedrooms, fitted designer kitchens and superior flooring and finishes throughout. Additionally, all homes in the development feature a private terrace or balcony and two underground car parking spaces.

Weston Homes’ attention to detail and understanding of the changing face of property sales has led to other unique built-in bonuses offered in all the Silverhind properties. Impressive home technology, no longer the privilege of the few, means that homeowners can control music, entertainment, heating, lighting and the curtain facility with ease via integrated iPads.

Bob Weston, founder and chairman of Weston Homes, comments: “This marks a major milestone for the development as for the very first time buyers can see fully the quality of design and how this building fits perfectly into its surroundings. I am confident that it will act as a local landmark just as the Bald Hind pub had done previously.

“If people like the look of it from the outside, they really should come inside as the apartments offer an exciting mix of technical wizardry, bespoke design and spacious flexible layouts suited to young professionals and downsizers alike.”

Silverhind is positioned in a prime location with Epping Forest, London’s largest open space at approximately 6,000 acres, just 15 minutes away by car. Nature lovers can also take advantage of Hainault Forest Country Park, a 336 acre park with a fishing lake, guided walks, a zoo and newly opened nature trail. Roding Valley Meadows is also just a ten minute drive away and boasts a 160 acre reserve comprising the largest surviving area of traditionally managed river-valley habitat in Essex.

Described as ‘the first village out of London’, Chigwell is located a mere 11 and a half miles north east of Charing Cross with easy road access to the M11 and M25. The town is also served by two tube stations, Chigwell and Grange Hill, both on the Central Line and a short walk from the development.

Prices for a two bedroom apartment start from £539,995 and a three bedroom apartment from £634,995. For more information about the open weekend call 0208 281 2785
