Leading housebuilder Weston Homes has launched Lovats Chase, a new offering of 56 traditionally-styled apartments and houses located minutes from Buntingford, the smallest town in Hertfordshire.

Buntingford itself may be the county’s smallest town, but it certainly doesn’t lack in history, significance or charm. It was first mentioned by name in 1185, in records of land owned by the Knights Templar. At the time, it was part of the parish of Layston, but the importance of its location, both on the River Rib and on the main road from London to York, ensured that it would rise in significance. Indeed, in 1360, it became home to one of the first community-run markets in the country. Amazingly, the market still continues each Monday and is only a ten minute walk from Lovats Chase.
