Thursday 3rd July 2014 marked the day of the prestigious East Herts Golf Club Charity Pro-Am 2014, one of the largest Pro-Am events in the PGA East Region, raising money for the Willow Foundation and the Captains' chosen charities.
Graham Huntley of Weston Homes Plc entered a team, including professional Mark Talbott, along with Michael Culhane of Mayfair Flooring and Adrian Skingley of A Skingley Plumbing.
The day benefitted from beautiful summer weather, and a fantastic day was had by all who attended the event, raising a substantial amount of money for the Willow Foundation, as well as the Captains’ chosen charities.
July is a busy month for golf, with the Weston Homes Plc Colchester Classic being held on 23rd and 24th July – the Pro-Am will be held on 25th July.
We will also be taking a trip to the stunning Cromer in Norfolk for the Weston Homes Plc Royal Cromer Classic being held on 28th and 29th July – the Pro-Am will be held on 30th July.
The biggest event in the calendar for Weston Homes will be the St Clare Hospice 20th Annual Golf Day, to be held at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf and Spa on Friday 12th September 2014.
The Tournament will run as a Stableford Team Competition (teams of 4 people with the best 3 scores to count) with the best overall score winning the Daniel Robinson Trophy. There will be numerous prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Nearest the Pin prizes, Longest Drive prizes and many others.
