Bob Weston named as one of the most influential Londoners of 2017

Bob Weston, Chairman and Chief Executive of Weston Homes Plc, is named as one of the most influential Londoners of 2017.

The Evening Standard’s annual Progress 1000 list, in partnership with Citi, unveiled by the newspaper’s editor George Osborne and London Mayor Sadiq Khan, names Bob Weston as one of the most influential people within the category ‘Build & Design’.

The list celebrates leaders in fields as diverse as entertainment, sport, the political sphere, food and drink, fashion, the media and business.

As reported in the Evening Standard, George Osborne said: “Everyone in this list counts towards where we are today.

"The combined achievements and future potential of our 1,000 give us heart that whatever happens in the world in the coming years, London will remain a destination for talent, a hub for the exchange of ideas and a global capital.”

Bob Weston is joined within the ‘Build & Design’ category by, among others, Tony Pidgley, Chair and Founder of Berkeley Group; Andrew Wolstenholme, Chief Executive Officer of Crossrail; and Alison Nimmo, Chief executive of Crown Estate.
